Seventh annual Public Health Agency media awards ceremony
The seventh annual Public Health Agency (PHA) media awards, run by the Western Investing for Health Partnership, invites entries from media students across Northern Ireland which address key public health or health improvement issues.
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday 22 March 2012 at Magee Campus, University of Ulster.
These PHA sponsored awards target students in university and further education institutions who are studying media and journalism, and challenges them to examine how public health is reported in the media. There are three main categories Best Moving Image, Best Written Journalism, Best Photographic Piece. This year there will be three additional awards one for the BIG Lottery Funded Drink Think Initiative and two for the crisis response service LIFELINE (funded by the PHA under the Protect Life Strategy).
