Adult Social Care: Delivering Quality Standards of Care

Guoman Charing Cross Hotel, London, 09:00 - 16:00

I am extremely pleased to invite you to an exclusive forum addressing the future of social care in the health sector.

The government is committed to delivering social care in the health sector in a way that provides high standards of care for all, while enabling people to retain their independence.

This commitment to providing high standards of care was underlined recently by the establishment of health and wellbeing boards. These health and wellbeing boards will allow NHS and local authorities to work closely together and will give communities a greater say in the running of social care services.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that Glen Mason, Director of Social Care Leadership and Performance at the Department of Health is CONFIRMED to deliver the Morning Keynote session at this important and topical forum. Glen's session will be'Implementing the Adult Social Care Reform Agenda'. This informative presentation will focus on:

- The impact of legislative reform on the adult social care workforce
- The resource challenge: Meeting rising demands and expectations
- Adult Social Care Workforce Strategy
