eLearning in Health: Collaboration, Sharing and Sustainability in the current environment


27-28 June 2011
Aston Conference Centre, Birmingham

We are pleased to invite you to our e-Learning in Health Conference, which will take place on 27-28 June 2011 at the Aston Conference Centre, Birmingham. The conference focuses on the enhancement of learning in health through technology and will cover the following themes:

  • Enhancing assessment and feedback through technology
  • Using technology to improve collaboration across the Education and Health Sectors; including mobile learning in practice
  • Innovative tools and technologies to support learning
  • Releasing, sharing, and using openly accessible online teaching materials (OER)
  • Using technology to enhance pedagogic quality whilst maintaining cost efficiencies
  • Using technology to enhance digital inclusion and promote widening participation
  • Using technology to support those with learning difficulties


The role of technology in education for sustainable development

We are now inviting applications to:

  • facilitate a workshop
  • give a trigger presentation
  • present a poster (electronic or printed)

This conference is organised and subsidised by the Higher Education Academy Subject Centres for Health Sciences & Practice (HSAP) and Medicine, Dentistry & Veterinary Medicine (MEDEV). We collaborate together as the Learning and Teaching in Health Network Group (HEALTH NG), working together with educators, communities and organisations to promote and enhance student learning in the health related disciplines.
