Wealth of a Nation: building smarter services for Scotland's children and young people

Conference
4 November 2010
08:30-16:00
Stirling Management Centre, Stirling

This year?s conference will examine how smarter thinking and reprioritisation of resources are essential in improving the lives of Scotland?s children and young people across childhood, from pre-birth provision to increasing numbers of young people going on to further and higher education and becoming life long learners.

How can we work together more effectively in getting it right and improving childhood for every child and young person?

Delegates attending this conference will:

- hear from researchers and policy makers about reprioritising resources and making a difference to children?s lives
- hear about how inequality impacts on the health of children, young people, and their families
- learn from practitioners across Scotland and from other countries about how they are succeeding in making a difference
